Function
EtherCAT high-speed real-time bus control: Built-in EtherCAT master station, with a bus cycle as low as 125μs, supports "distributed clock synchronization", and the inter-axis synchronization error is ≤1μs, meeting the requirements of high-precision multi-axis cooperative control. It has a faster response and stronger anti-interference ability than traditional pulse control.
Large-scale multi-axis motion control: Supports up to 64-axis EtherCAT motion control, covering complex motion functions such as linear/circular arc/helical/spline interpolation, electronic CAM, electronic gear, flying shears/chasing shears, etc. Multi-axis synchronization of large equipment can be achieved without additional motion control modules.
High-performance logic and data processing: Maintaining a high-speed computing speed of 0.034μs per step, it can simultaneously handle large-scale logic interlocking, timing control, and motion control tasks, support massive data storage (formulas, logs, process parameters), and is suitable for the complex control requirements of medium and large-scale production lines.
Flexible expansion and multi-device interconnection: Compatible with all expansion modules of the Q series, it can be flexibly combined with analog quantity, temperature control, and communication modules. The dual Ethernet ports support network redundancy, remote monitoring and programming. The EtherCAT bus can be directly connected to servo systems, frequency converters and remote I/O, achieving seamless interconnection of on-site devices.
High reliability and intelligent diagnosis: It is equipped with multiple diagnostic functions such as power supply anomalies, program errors, EtherCAT bus faults (slave station offline, communication interruption), and abnormal shaft movement. Fault information is fed back in real time to the software or touch screen. Supports program/data battery backup, ensuring data is not lost after power failure. Industrial-grade anti-interference design ADAPTS to complex on-site environments.
Convenient programming and debugging: Supports multiple programming languages such as ladder diagram, FBD, ST, and SFC. The GX Works3 software is equipped with an EtherCAT configuration tool, allowing for intuitive configuration of slave devices, axis parameters, and motion trajectories. It also supports online monitoring of axis position, speed, and bus status, facilitating rapid debugging and maintenance.
