Module type: RX3i series digital output module, 16-point relay output (single pole single throw, NO normally open contact).
Output voltage range
AC: AC 24V - 240V (covering common industrial strong voltage, such as AC 110V, 220V);
DC: DC 24V - 125V (compatible with medium-voltage DC loads, such as DC 48V, 110V solenoid valves).
Output current: Maximum 2A per point (resistive load), total output current of the module maximum 16A (single-channel or total current overload must be avoided).
Response time: On typical value ≤10ms, off typical value ≤5ms, suitable for medium and low-speed control scenarios (non-high-frequency on/off requirements).
Isolation method: Channel group isolation (every 8 points as a group, electrically isolated from the backplane bus), isolation voltage 2500V AC (1 minute), with outstanding resistance to strong electrical interference.
Status indication: Each output point is equipped with a red LED indicator light (which lights up when the output is connected), and a power indicator light is set on the top of the module to visually feedback the working status.
Power supply requirements: The internal logic power supply of the module is obtained through the RX3i backplane bus. The external load needs to provide a corresponding AC/DC power supply separately (matching the load voltage).
Environmental adaptability: Operating temperature -25 °C to 70°C, storage temperature -40 °C to 85°C, relative humidity 5% to 95% (no condensation), protection grade IP20 (needs to be installed in a control cabinet).
Installation method: Compatible with RX3i standard racks, supports DIN rail installation, and can be flexibly combined with cpus and I/O modules of the same series.
Function
Wide load voltage compatibility: The relay output does not need to distinguish between AC and DC types and can directly drive different voltage loads such as AC 240V contactors and DC 125V solenoid valves, reducing the complexity of module selection.
Strong current isolation protection: The 2500V AC high isolation voltage can block the impact of external strong current on the PLC system, prevent strong current circuit faults from affecting the control core, and enhance system stability.
Multi-load type compatibility: Mechanical contact relays can drive resistive and inductive loads (such as motor coils, transformers) without the need for additional absorption circuits, making them compatible with various loads in industrial sites.
Convenient fault diagnosis: LED indicator lights display the on-off status of each output in real time. Combined with the detectability of relay contacts, problems such as loose wiring and load short circuits can be quickly identified.
Application scenarios
Industrial motor control circuit: Control contactor coils that drive AC 220V/380V motors (such as the start and stop control of workshop water pumps and fans), and achieve automatic start and stop as well as interlock protection through PLC.
Medium and high-pressure valve control: In the fields of metallurgy and chemical engineering, it is used to control DC 110V/AC 220V hydraulic solenoid valves and pneumatic stop valves to achieve the on-off regulation of pipeline media.
Strong current alarm and indication: Drive AC 220V workshop alarm lights, equipment operation indicator lights, or DC 48V outdoor security indicator lights to transmit equipment status and fault signals.
Building and infrastructure control: In the building automation system, control the AC 220V air conditioning fan contactor and the main lighting switch. In the substation, the signal indicator light for driving DC 125V.
