Module type: RX3i series digital output module, 16-point relay output (single pole single throw, NO normally open contact).
Output voltage range
AC: 120V/240V (rated), compatible with AC 24V-240V;
DC: DC 24V-125V, covering common AC and DC load voltages.
Output current: Maximum 2A per point (resistive load), maximum output current of the total module 16A (note the superposition limit of single channel and total current).
Response time: The typical on-off value is ≤10ms, and the typical off-off value is ≤5ms. It is suitable for medium and low-speed load control (non-high-frequency on-off scenarios).
Isolation method: Channel group isolation (every 8 points in a group, electrically isolated from the backplane bus), isolation voltage 2500V AC (1 minute), with outstanding resistance to strong electrical interference.
Status indication: Each output point is equipped with a red LED indicator light (which lights up when the output is connected), and there is a power indicator light on the top of the module for intuitive diagnosis.
Power supply requirements: The module itself takes power through the RX3i backplane bus (for internal logic), and external loads need to provide corresponding AC/DC power supplies separately.
Environmental adaptability: Operating temperature -25 °C-70°C, storage temperature -40 °C-85°C, relative humidity 5%-95% (no condensation), protection grade IP20 (needs to be installed in a control cabinet).

Function
Wide voltage load drive: The relay output supports multiple voltage levels of AC and DC, and can directly drive AC 240V contactors, DC 125V solenoid valves, medium power indicator lights, etc., without the need for additional voltage conversion components.
Strong current isolation protection: The 2500V AC high isolation voltage can effectively block the impact of external strong current (such as AC 240V) on the PLC system, and is especially suitable for industrial sites where strong current and weak current are mixed.
Strong load compatibility: The relay contacts are mechanical contact type, which can drive resistive and inductive loads (such as motor starting coils, transformer primary), without worrying about the reverse electromotive force output by transistors.
Intuitive fault detection: The LED indicator light provides real-time feedback on the output status of each channel. Combined with the mechanical characteristics of the relay contacts, it can quickly determine whether the output is normal and whether the load is short-circuited or open-circuited.
Application scenarios
Industrial motor control: The control circuit contactors that drive AC 220V/380V motors (such as the start and stop contactor coils of water pumps and fans) are used to achieve motor automation control through PLC.
Medium and high pressure solenoid valve drive: Controls DC 110V/AC 220V hydraulic solenoid valves and pneumatic valves, suitable for heavy equipment action control in the metallurgical and chemical industries.
Strong current circuit indication and alarm: Fault alarm lights and operation indicator lights for driving AC 220V, used for status prompts and abnormal alarms in production lines and distribution rooms.
Buildings and infrastructure: In the building automation system, control the contactors of AC 220V air conditioning fans and the switches of lighting circuits; In water treatment plants, drive medium-pressure valve actuators.
