Product parameters

Input channels: 8 channels, capable of simultaneously measuring the temperature at 8 points.

Temperature conversion value output: 16-bit signed binary (-2700 to 18200).

Compatible thermocouple types: B, R, S, N, K, E, J, T type thermocouples that support JIS or IEC standards.

Accuracy: The accuracy of type B, R, S and N thermocouples is 0.3K, while that of type E, J and T thermocouples is 0.1K.

Cold end compensation accuracy: 1.0K.

Conversion speed: 320ms/8 channels.

Sampling period: 320ms/8 channels.

Insulation: Transformers are used to isolate the thermocouple input from the power supply of the programmable controller and between the thermocouple input channels. The insulation withstand voltage is AC500V for 1 minute, and the insulation resistance is DC500V at 10MΩ or above.

External wiring connection: 40-pin connector, suitable for wire size of 0.3mm² (AWG#22) or smaller, recommended connector is A6CON4.

Power supply and size: DC5V internal bus power supply, consumption current 0.49A;

Function

Channel isolation: Each channel is isolated from one another, which can effectively prevent interference between channels and improve the accuracy and stability of the measurement.

Thermocouple types are selectable: Each channel can independently select the supported thermocouple type, facilitating users to configure according to their actual measurement requirements.

Disconnection monitoring function: It is equipped with a disconnection status monitoring function. The disconnection status of each channel thermocouple or compensating wire can be checked through the disconnection status monitoring mark. The disconnection status can also be checked from the measured temperature value by setting the "upper limit value", "lower limit value" or "given value".

The conversion processing methods are diverse: As conversion processing methods, each channel can choose sampling processing, time averaging processing, count averaging processing, moving averaging or one-time delay filtering.

Cold terminal temperature compensation: Accurate temperature measurement can be achieved by connecting the provided cold terminal temperature compensation resistor (RTD) and enabling the cold terminal temperature compensation function.

Application scenarios

This module is suitable for applications that require high-precision, multi-channel temperature measurement and channel isolation, such as temperature monitoring of multiple reaction vessels in chemical production, temperature control of multi-station heating equipment in the metallurgical industry, and precision temperature control equipment in electronic manufacturing, etc. It can provide reliable temperature data acquisition for industrial automation control systems.
