Processor performance: 32-bit RISC processor, basic instruction execution speed 0.1 μs/step (Boolean instructions), application instructions starting from 0.3 μs/step, supports single-task priority execution (program execution and I/O refresh parallel), interrupt response time ≤50 μs

Memory configuration: User program memory 14 KB (approximately 70 KB), data memory 128 KB (including 64 KB configurable power-off retention area), supports microSD card expansion (up to 16 GB, used for program backup and data log storage)

I/O integration capability: Built-in 16-point digital input (DC 24V, drain type/source type switchable) + 16-point digital output (transistor drain type, DC 24V, maximum 0.1A per channel, total output current 1.6A), can directly drive small loads without additional I/O modules

Expansion capability: Supports Q series expansion modules for expansion (up to 2 expansion modules can be connected, such as analog modules and special function modules), with a maximum of 256 I/O points (digital + analog) after expansion. Support simple remote I/O extension (via CC-Link IE Field Basic, Modbus TCP network)

Mechanical features: Compact design, no need for Q series standard racks, directly installed on 35mm DIN rails, does not support hot plugging

Programming and Configuration: Supports GX Works2/GX Works3 programming software, compatible with four programming methods: ladder diagram (LD), Function block diagram (FBD), structured text (ST), and sequential function diagram (SFC), and supports online debugging and fault diagnosis

Diagnostic functions: Integrated power supply (PWR), RUN (RUN), STOP (STOP), communication (ETH/COM), I/O fault indicator lights. Supports built-in I/O fault, communication fault, and program error diagnosis. Basic fault codes can be read through software

Function

Entry-level computing and control performance: With a basic instruction execution efficiency of 0.1 μs per step, it can efficiently handle small logic programs, timing control, counting/timing functions, support up to 32 PID loops (including self-tuning function), and is suitable for small discrete control and simple process control scenarios, meeting the core requirements of single-machine automation

Built-in I/O saves costs: Integrated 16-in and 16-out digital I/O eliminates the need to purchase additional I/O modules and racks. It directly drives loads such as indicator lights, small solenoid valves, and sensors, significantly reducing the hardware costs and wiring complexity of small systems

Integrated power supply design: It is equipped with a built-in AC 100-240V wide-voltage input power supply and provides a DC 24V auxiliary output, which can directly power the built-in I/O and external small sensors without the need for additional switching power supplies, simplifying the system power supply architecture

Basic communication and networking: Built-in Ethernet + RS-485 interface, supports Modbus TCP/RTU and CC-Link IE Field Basic protocols, can be directly connected to HMI, touch screens, and small SCADA systems, and can complete single-machine monitoring and simple networking without additional communication modules

High reliability and data protection: Built-in power-off retention capacitor, critical data (programs, PID parameters, counter values) can be retained for ≥10 days (optional Q6BAT battery backup module extends to several years). Industrial-grade anti-interference design, suitable for the electromagnetic environment of small workshops and equipment sites

Convenient installation and maintenance: Compact DIN rail installation, no rack required, saving control cabinet space; The status indicator light intuitively reflects the working status and fault type. The program supports online download, making debugging and maintenance simple and efficient

Limited expansion flexibility: Supports the connection of 2 Q series expansion modules. Analog quantity modules, high-speed counting modules, etc. can be added as needed to meet the functional expansion requirements of small-scale systems (such as adding temperature collection and high-speed positioning functions).

Application scenarios

Single-machine automation equipment: Single-machine control of small injection molding machines, sealing machines, labeling machines, and ultrasonic cleaning machines. Through built-in I/O drive solenoid valves, contactors, and indicator lights, it realizes equipment start and stop, sequential actions, and simple process control (such as single-point regulation of temperature and pressure).

Small-scale production line control: Logical control of electronic component insertion lines, small-scale assembly lines, and manual auxiliary production lines, achieving multi-station linkage, counting and sorting, fault alarm functions, and controlling a small number of actuators and sensors

General mechanical auxiliary control: Auxiliary action control of small machine tools (fixture clamping, coolant switch, workpiece conveying), start/stop and protection control of fans/pump sets, speed regulation and zonal control of small conveyor lines

Small-scale automatic control for buildings and infrastructure: Lighting zone control for small office buildings and computer rooms, air conditioning fan coil control, and automatic start and stop of water supply and drainage pump sets. Communication with local touch screens via Modbus TCP is achieved to realize simple centralized monitoring

Laboratory and testing equipment: Customized control of small test benches in scientific research laboratories and industrial testing equipment (such as product size inspection and withstand voltage testing equipment), through built-in I/O to collect sensor signals and drive actuators, to complete simple testing processes

Renovation and replacement of old equipment: Replace traditional relay control cabinets or old small PLCS (such as Mitsubishi FX1N/FX2N series) to upgrade the control logic, while retaining the original sensors and actuators, reducing the cost and difficulty of renovation

Small-scale warehousing and logistics equipment: Location indicator light control for small shelf-type warehouses, auxiliary linkage for manual sorting lines, start and stop control for small conveyor roller tracks, suitable for installation scenarios with compact space
