Remote I/O connection: The IC697 I/O module can be connected to the IC66 * bus and installed in a remote IC697 rack to achieve remote I/O expansion.

Topological structure support: Supports Daisy chain cabling topology, allowing for the connection of continuous remote racks with just one cable, reducing cable complexity and material costs.

Data transmission and error detection: Equipped with parity check function, it can detect errors during data transmission and trigger fault alarms through red LED indicator lights. Meanwhile, its intuitive LED array (green for power, blue for backplane communication, and amber for link activity) can provide real-time status display.

System compatibility It is fully compatible with all Series 90-70 cpus (from mid-range IC697CPU750 to IC697CPU771) and 5/10/15 slot racks (such as IC697RACK10), and can be seamlessly integrated into existing Series 90-70 systems.
