Processor performance

Instruction processing speed: Approximately 0.1µs per basic logic instruction, supporting complex mathematical operations and floating-point calculations.

User memory: 128KB (program memory) + 128KB (data memory), which can be expanded via an external memory card.

Communication interface

One RS-232C port (for programming and HMI communication, with a maximum rate of 115.2kbps).

1 RS-485 port (supports Modbus RTU protocol, can connect slave devices, with a maximum rate of 115.2kbps).

Support the addition of interfaces such as PROFIBUS and Ethernet through extended communication modules (such as IC693CMM301).

I/O expansion capability

Up to 3 I/O racks can be connected (expanded via the IC693BEM331 baseboard), with a maximum total of 512 I/O points (digital) or 128 points (analog).

Compatible with all digital, analog and special function modules of the 90-30 series (such as high-speed counting and PID modules).

Power Supply and Environment

Supply voltage: It needs to be matched with a 90-30 system power module (such as IC693PWR331), with an input of 24VDC. The power consumption of the module itself is approximately 5VDC/0.5A (from the backplane bus).

Operating temperature: 0℃ to 60℃ Storage temperature: -40℃ to 85℃ Protection grade IP20 (to be installed in the control cabinet).

Function

Complex control capability: Supports ladder diagram (LD) and function block diagram (FBD) programming, capable of achieving logical control, sequential control, and PID process regulation, meeting the multi-task processing requirements of medium and large-scale equipment.

Flexible communication: Equipped with RS-232/RS-485 interfaces, it can be directly connected to programming computers, touch screens (HMI), or third-party devices (such as frequency converters, sensors), and can be integrated into industrial networks through expansion modules.

Diagnosis and Fault Tolerance: Built-in self-diagnostic function, which can monitor the hardware status of the module and I/O connection faults, and provide feedback through indicator lights or communication ports. Support program backup and recovery to enhance system reliability.

Real-time performance guarantee: Priority task scheduling is adopted, and key control tasks (such as PID regulation) can be executed first to ensure the control response speed, which is suitable for scenarios with high timing requirements (such as synchronous control of production lines).

Application scenarios

Medium-sized industrial equipment: such as plastic injection molding machines, printing machines, packaging machinery, used for controlling the action sequence of equipment and closed-loop regulation of temperature/pressure (such as PID control of barrel temperature in injection molding machines).

Process control system: In the chemical, water treatment, and food processing industries, it is used to control equipment such as pumps, valves, and agitators, achieving stable control of parameters such as flow rate, liquid level, and concentration.

Centralized control of production lines: For small and medium-sized production lines (such as electronic component assembly lines and home appliance production lines), I/O signals of multiple workstations are centrally managed to coordinate the synchronous operation among equipment.

Upgrade of existing equipment: As the mainstream processor of the 90-30 series, it is often used to replace the control unit of old equipment, compatible with the original I/O modules, and reduces the upgrade cost.
