Function

Protocol conversion: Connect DF1 full-duplex protocol devices to the DeviceNet network, supporting point-to-point and multi-node communication, and overcoming the point-to-point limitations of DF1.

Operating mode:

Point-to-point messaging: Supports data exchange between controllers.

DeviceNet master/Slave I/O: As a slave device, it communicates with the DeviceNet master station (scanner) and transmits I/O data.

Explicit message passing (Series B only) : Supports reading/writing data through DeviceNet to enhance communication flexibility.

Programming support: Program upload/download, monitoring and editing are supported through the DeviceNet network, compatible with RSLogix 500 and RSLinx.

Remote access: It can be connected to a modem and access the controller in the DeviceNet network via dial-up.

Modular design: Independent module, supporting DIN rail or panel installation, flexible deployment, suitable for MicroLogix, SLC 500, PLC-5, CompactLogix and third-party DF1 devices.

Diagnostic function: Real-time communication and power status feedback are provided through LED indicator lights (DeviceNet status, module status).
