Function
Dc output
It provides 8 DC output channels (2 groups, 4 points in each group), supporting 10-30V DC. It is suitable for controlling DC loads (such as relays, solenoid valves, indicator lights) or controlling AC loads through intermediate circuits.
Each point supports A current of 2 A, and the total current of the module can reach up to 8 A (at 60°C).
Status control
Supports Fault Mode and Program Mode at each point, which can be configured as ON, OFF or remain in the final state (default OFF).
Support Scheduled Outputs, with a synchronization time of up to 16.7 seconds.
Diagnosis and Monitoring
The LED indicator light shows the output status, communication status and module health status.
No electronic fuse or advanced diagnostic functions (such as open circuit/load loss detection of 1756-OA8D).
Network integration
Communicate with the ControlLogix controller via ControlNet or EtherNet/IP network, supporting local or distributed I/O architecture.
Supports hot plugging (RIUP), which is convenient for maintenance and replacement.
Software configuration: Configured using Studio 5000 Logix Designer software, it supports point-level configuration, communication formats (rack optimization, direct connection, scheduling output, listening output), and Add-On Profiles (AOP).
Fuse protection: No built-in fuse. It is recommended to use a 5x20mm, 4A fast fuse (SOC P/N MQ2-4A) protection module.
