Function

Isolated AC output

It provides 16 independently isolated AC output channels, supporting 74-265V AC, and is suitable for controlling AC loads such as relays, solenoid valves, indicator lights or motor starters.

Each point is independently isolated (channel-to-channel and channel-to-backplane), reducing ground loops and electromagnetic interference, and is suitable for complex electrical environments.

Each point supports 2 A (30°C) or 1 A (60°C), and the total current of the module can be up to 5 A (30°C) or 4 A (60°C).

Status control

Supports Fault Mode and Program Mode at each point, which can be configured as ON, OFF or remain in the final state (default OFF).

Support Scheduled Outputs with a synchronization time of up to 16.7 seconds to ensure precise control.

Diagnosis and Monitoring

The LED indicator light shows the output status, communication status and module health status.

There is no internal circuit breaker or advanced diagnostic function (such as open circuit/load loss detection of 1756-OA8D).

Network integration

Communicate with the ControlLogix controller via ControlNet or EtherNet/IP network, supporting local or distributed I/O architecture.

Supports hot plugging (RIUP), which is convenient for maintenance and replacement.

Software configuration:

Configured using the Studio 5000 Logix Designer software, it supports point-level configuration, communication formats (rack optimization, direct connection, scheduling output), and Add-On Profiles (AOP).

No internal fuse:

The module does not have an internal fuse. It is recommended to install an external fuse to protect the module. The size of the fuse should be selected based on a current of 2A at each point.

Control AC equipment in the production line, such as relays, solenoid valves, indicator lights or small motor starters, suitable for manufacturing, automotive assembly and packaging systems.

The isolation design at each point is suitable for complex electrical environments and reduces interference.

In the petrochemical, power or water treatment industries, drive AC loads such as pumps, valves or alarm devices.

High inrush current support (20 A, 43 ms) is suitable for starting high-impact loads.
