Multi-functional input
Supports RTD (3-wire and 4-wire), thermocouple and millivolt input. Each channel can be independently configured for different sensor types, offering high flexibility.
The 24-bit resolution offers ultra-high precision and is suitable for precise temperature and resistance measurement.
Channel isolation
All 8 channels are independently isolated (channel-to-channel, channel-to-backplane, 250V), effectively reducing ground loops and electromagnetic noise interference, and enhancing signal integrity.
Advanced diagnostic functions:
Supports open-circuit detection (2-5 seconds, depending on the input type), over-range/under-range detection, process alarm, rate alarm and sensor offset.
Provide 10 Ω copper RTD offset compensation to optimize the measurement accuracy at low temperatures.
Supports cold contact compensation (CJC). In thermocouple mode, the 1756-CJC sensor needs to be ordered separately.
Flexible data processing
Supports IEEE 32-bit floating-point data format and is compatible with multiple control systems.
It offers multiple input ranges (1-500 Ω, 2-1000 Ω, 4-2000 Ω, 8-4000 Ω, -100...) It is 100 mV and supports the selection of temperature units (Celsius/Fahrenheit).
It is equipped with built-in digital filtering, notch filtering (10 Hz, 50 Hz, 60 Hz, 100 Hz, 250 Hz, 1000 Hz) and synchronous sampling function.
