Function

Thermocouple input processing

Supports 2 differential and isolated thermocouple input channels, compatible with multiple thermocouple types, and the measurement range covers -200°C to +2315°C.

The analog signal is converted to a 15-bit signed integer through the Delta-Sigma converter, with a resolution of 2.5 µV/ count.

Temperature unit support: Supports 4 temperature units (Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin, Rand) and 1 custom mV unit.

Diagnostic function:

It provides channel-level diagnosis, including under-range, over-range, cold junction compensation (CJC), open circuit detection, open circuit detection, and high/high, low/low low alarms.

Diagnostic data is embedded in 8-byte scanner data (Rx) without consuming output data (Tx).

Flexible configuration

Support the configuration of thermocouple type, temperature unit, alarm threshold and cold junction compensation through software (such as Studio 5000 Logix Designer).

Provide channel-level engineering unit scaling and calibration modes.

Modular design

Compatible with POINT I/O communication adapters (such as 1734-AENT, 1734-ADN), and supporting distributed I/O architecture.

Detachable terminal blocks (RTB) simplify wiring and maintenance.
