Function

RTD input processing

Supports 2 single-ended, non-isolated channels, compatible with 100 Pt α = 0.00385 Euro RTD sensor (-50... +320 °C / -58... +608 °F and 0-220 Ω resistance signal.

The analog signal is converted to a 16-bit signed integer through the Delta-Sigma converter to provide high-resolution temperature or resistance measurement (2.4 mΩ/ count, 0.006 °C/ count).

High resolution

Compared with 1734-IR2, 1734-IR2E offers higher resolution and is suitable for higher-precision temperature measurement applications.

Diagnostic function:

Provide channel-level diagnosis, including over-range/under-range, ultra-high/high/low/ultra-low alarms and open circuit detection.

Diagnostic data is stored in 16-bit registers and can be used for local monitoring or integrated into HMI, SCADA or DCS systems.

Flexible configuration

Supports multiple temperature units and user-defined units (mV).

Channel parameters can be independently configured, including sensor type, temperature unit, engineering unit scaling, and alarm threshold.

Modular design

Compatible with POINT I/O communication adapters and supporting distributed I/O architectures.

Detachable terminal blocks (RTB) simplify wiring and maintenance.
