Power supply: Connect the power rail or terminals 14+, 15-, rated voltage 20-30V DC, rated current 30-40mA.
The connection terminal is the field side, which is connected through terminals 1 (ground), 2 (minimum), and 3 (maximum). The response sensitivity ranges from 1 to 150kΩ and can be adjusted by a potentiometer.
Output The connection end is the control side, which is connected through terminals 7, 8, 9 and 10, 11, 12. The maximum switching power is 192W and 2000VA. The output signal is a relay, and the contact load is 253V AC/2A/cosφ>0.7 or 40V DC/2A (resistive load). The signal damping time constants are 0.5s, 2s, 5s, and 10s.
Electrical isolation: Input/output, input/power supply, and output/power supply are all reinforced insulation. According to the IEC/EN 61010-1 standard, the rated insulation voltage is 300V eff.
Mechanical features: Protection grade IP20, connected by screw terminals, capable of connecting up to 2.5mm² wires, weight approximately 150g, dimensions 20x119x115mm (width x height x depth), installed on 35mm DIN rails.
Environmental conditions: Ambient temperature -20 -60℃.
Function
Signal conversion and amplification: As a conductive switch amplifier, it provides an AC measurement voltage for the liquid level sensing electrode. When the measured medium reaches the electrode, the module responds by stimulating the C-type conversion relay contact, converting the liquid level signal into a relay contact output signal, thereby achieving signal amplification and conversion.
Adjustable delay: It features a signal delay function, with the delay time adjustable between 0.5 seconds and 10 seconds. The appropriate delay time can be set according to actual application requirements to prevent false actions caused by signal fluctuations and other reasons.
Fault detection and indication: It can monitor whether there is a broken wire (LB) situation in the on-site circuit. If a fault is detected, the red LED will light up to indicate. If LB monitoring is selected, Output II will be output as a fault signal. Otherwise, it will follow the function of output I.
Control mode selection: It can be used for on/off control or minimum/maximum control. Different control modes can be achieved through corresponding terminal connections and Settings to meet the needs of different application scenarios.
Application scenarios
Industrial liquid level control: In the liquid level monitoring and control scenarios of storage tanks, reactors and other equipment in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical and other industries, liquid level sensors can be connected to convert liquid level signals into relay contact signals, which are used to control the start and stop of pumps, valves and other equipment, achieving automatic liquid level control.
Other scenarios requiring intrinsically safe isolation: Due to its intrinsically safe characteristics, it can be used in industrial environments with explosive hazardous gases, such as oil and gas extraction and processing sites, to ensure the safe and reliable signal transmission between on-site equipment and control systems.
