Interface type: There are two 37-pin connectors identical to those on the IC600 I/O receiver, used for interconnection with the IC600 I/O bus.
I/O reference points: Each IC697 I/O rack can be allocated 128 (five-slot racks) or 256 (nine-slot racks) I/O reference points. Up to 8 such racks can be used in a system, providing up to 2000 addressable points.
Function
System connection Provide an interface between the I/O bus of the IC600 programmable controller and the IC697 I/O module, enabling the IC697 I/O rack to be connected to the IC600 I/O chain. Realize the mixed configuration of IC600 I/O, IC697 I/O and IC660 I/O in the IC600 PLC system.
Data reading and writing: As an intelligent module, it can read and write the data of each I/O module on the rack and exchange data with the IC600 CPU through the I/O bus.
Rack support: Depending on the I/O reference of the rack, each I/O system supports a maximum of 8 racks. Each of the 8 available I/O slots on the IC697 rack is allocated 32 discrete points.
