Product parameters

Number of channels: 4 analog output channels.

Output signal range: Voltage output is -10V to + 10V; The current output is 0-20mA and 4-20mA.

Resolution: 16 bits, with 14-bit monotonicity.

Conversion rate: The conversion rate for all 4 channels is 2ms.

Accuracy: The voltage accuracy is ±2.5mV at full scale. The current accuracy is 4.0mA±5μA and 20mA±5μA (under a field voltage of 24.0V DC).

Power supply requirements: At 5V DC, the maximum current consumption is 1.66A (8.3 watts), and the current output requires the user to provide a maximum 150mA DC user power supply.

Function

Signal conversion: It is equipped with a built-in 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) circuit, which can convert the digital data transmitted from the PLC through the backplane into analog voltage or current signals for output. The voltage output resolution is 312.5 microvolts per LSB step, and the 4-20mA current output resolution is 0.5 microamperes per LSB step.

Flexible configuration: Each output channel can be independently configured through MS-DOS or Windows programming software without the need for jumpers or DIP switches, making it convenient for users to set the output signal type and range according to actual needs.

Condition monitoring and protection: The output channel is isolated from the backplane and has overvoltage protection function, which can effectively resist transient and steady-state overvoltage conditions and protect the module and connected devices. Meanwhile, the module may be equipped with status indicator lights to show the working status of the module.

Factory calibration: The module is calibrated in the factory, and the calibration data is stored in the EEPROM to ensure the accuracy and stability of the output.

Application scenarios

Industrial automation: It can be used to control process equipment such as valves, actuators, and drivers that require analog voltage or current signals, achieving precise control of industrial production processes, such as flow control and temperature control in chemical production.

Data acquisition system: It sends analog sensor data to the data logger or controller and can be used as part of the data acquisition system to monitor and record various analog quantities.

Testing and Measurement: Provide precise analog output for testing and calibration purposes, which can be used for equipment testing and calibration work in laboratories or on production lines to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the equipment.
