Handheld Device CommunicatorThe Emerson AMS Trex 2 Device Communicator TREX2-C-H-P-KL-9-S1-S is a rugged handheld field communication and maintenance platform for process automation instrumentation.
It enables technicians to communicate with and diagnose compatible HART and FOUNDATION Fieldbus field devices, perform device configuration and calibration, troubleshoot instrumentation problems, and carry out commissioning and maintenance tasks directly in the field.
The unit features a 5.7-inch color VGA resistive touchscreen, quad-core processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal NAND flash storage, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB connectivity. Its rechargeable lithium-ion power module provides more than 8 hours of typical operating time. The rugged enclosure is rated IP54, with an operating temperature range of -20 to +55 °C.
