Beckhoff EP3174-0002 EtherCAT Box 4-Channel Analog Input Module, ±10 V / 0/4–20 mA, 16-bit, Differential, M12

Each of its four analog input channels can be independently parameterized for standard voltage or current signals. Supported signal ranges include -10…+10 V, 0…10 V, 0…20 mA and 4…20 mA. The module digitizes the input signals with a 16-bit resolution and transmits the measured values to the higher-level controller via the EtherCAT fieldbus.

The four channels are differential inputs and use individual 5-pin M12 connectors. The module supports configurable input filtering, signal scaling and automatic limit-value monitoring. The configurable input filter can operate up to a cutoff frequency of 5 kHz, while the typical conversion time is approximately 100 µs.

The EP3174-0002 is housed in a compact PA6 polyamide industrial enclosure and provides IP65/IP66/IP67 protection, making it suitable for decentralized installation close to sensors and measuring equipment without requiring a conventional control cabinet installation.
