Beckhoff EP1809-0022 EtherCAT Box 16-Channel Digital Input 24 V DC 3 ms M12

It accepts 24 V DC digital input signals according to EN 61131-2, Type 1/3. The nominal input voltage is 24 V DC with an allowable supply range of -15%/+20%. A logical LOW signal is recognized within -3 to +5 V, while a logical HIGH signal is recognized from 11 to 30 V. Typical input current is approximately 3 mA.

The eight M12 input connectors provide a total of 16 digital channels. The integrated 3 ms input filter helps suppress short-duration signal disturbances and provides additional debouncing for mechanical switches and similar input devices.

The module communicates with the higher-level controller through EtherCAT, using two shielded 4-pin M8 connectors for EtherCAT input and forwarding. The connected sensors are supplied from the module's control voltage, with a total short-circuit-protected sensor supply capacity of 0.5 A.
