Function
Embedded I/O: 16 24V DC inputs (8 high-speed 20 kHz inputs), supporting high-speed counting, encoder or fast sensor signal processing.
12 outputs: 6 relay outputs (2 isolated) supporting various voltage loads, 4 standard FET outputs and 2 fast FET outputs (20 kHz) supporting pulse sequence output (PTO), suitable for simple motion control.
Communication function:
Channel Port 0 supports DH485, DF1, Modbus RTU and ASCII protocols, and is suitable for communication with HMI, SCADA or other PLCS.
Ethernet communication can be supported through the 1764-LRP processor or expansion modules (such as 1761-NET-ENI).
Sensor power supply: Built-in 24V DC sensor power supply (400 mA, 400 µF capacitor), providing stable power supply for external sensors and reducing the demand for external power supply.
Modular design
It is slide-in assembled with the 1764-LSP or 1764-LRP processor module to form a complete PLC.
Supports Compact I/O expansion modules (such as 1769-IF8, 1769-OW8), expanding to 512 I/O points to enhance flexibility.
High-speed counting and motion control
Eight 20 kHz high-speed inputs support fast counting applications (such as encoders).
Two 20 kHz fast FET outputs support PTO, suitable for stepper motors or simple servo control.
Programming support:
The RSLogix 500 programming software is used, which supports ladder diagram logic and online editing.
It can be used in conjunction with 1764-DAT (Data Access Tool) for parameter configuration and status monitoring.
