Two Flowmeter Inputs (Flowmeter Inputs), supporting various types of flowmeters (such as magnetic induction, TTL, preamplifier).

Two Gate Inputs are used for calibration/storage counts in Totalizer Mode.

Compatibility

Controller: It needs to be used in conjunction with the Logix 5550 series or other ControlLogix controllers (such as 1756-L55, 1756-L71), and the module needs to be "owned" for normal operation.

Power supply: Compatible with the standard power supplies of 1756-PA50, 1756-PA72, 1756-PA75, 1756-PB50, 1756-PB72, 1756-PB75, 1756-PC75 and 1756-PH75. Or 1756-PA75R, 1756-PB75R, 1756-PSCA2 redundant power supplies.

High-performance flow measurement

It provides 2 flowmeter inputs (up to 100 kHz, 16-bit resolution) and 2 gate inputs, supporting high-precision flow measurement.

Supports multiple types of flowmeters (magnetic induction, TTL, preamplifier, pulse, frequency, analog, encoder).

It offers multiple flow modes: total volume, batch processing, rate and ratio, to meet different industrial demands.

Flexible output control

Two current source outputs (4.5-5.5V DC or 10-31.2V DC), with a fast response time (1 ms), suitable for rapid adjustment and control.

Supports short-circuit protection and overload protection to ensure system reliability.

Communication and Integration

The interface between the ControlLogix rack and the Logix controller supports direct connection or listening-only mode.

Compatible with networks such as EtherNet/IP and ControlNet (additional communication modules are required, such as 1756-ENBT and 1756-CNB).

Support Producer/Consumer technology to optimize data transmission efficiency.

Status monitoring and diagnosis

It is equipped with LED indicator lights to display faults, input, output and communication status, facilitating on-site fault detection.

Detailed diagnostic information (such as flowmeter status and error codes) is provided and can be viewed through Studio 5000.

Support Module Fault Reporting to help users quickly identify problems.

Modular design

Supports RIUP, Removal and Insertion Under Power, which is convenient for maintenance and replacement.

Simplify on-site wiring by using RTB (1756-TBNH or 1756-TBSH) or 1492 interface module cables.

Built-in AGA 7 compensation algorithm optimizes gas flow measurement and is suitable for the oil and gas industry.
