Function
Incremental encoder interface
Supports 1 group of differential or single-ended encoder signals (A/A return, B/B return, Z/Z return), and is compatible with 24V DC incremental encoders, pulse generators and mechanical limit switches.
It can handle high-frequency signals (up to 1 MHz) and is suitable for rapid counting and motion control.
Multiple operation modes:
Encoder mode: Supports X1, X2, and X4 encoding, used for position tracking and speed calculation.
Counter mode: Used for one-way counting, such as material counting.
Periodic/frequency mode: Measures the period or frequency of the signal, suitable for speed monitoring.
Rate measurement mode: Provides real-time rate data and is suitable for dynamic control.
Counting function:
It is equipped with a 24-bit counter and supports preset values and flip values configured by the user.
The Z signal can be used to reset, gate or store the counter value.
Data processing
Provide 6 or 10 bytes of input data (for the scanner to receive) and consume 1 byte of output data (for the scanner to send).
Support counter parameter configuration, such as gating intervals, preset values, and safety status values.
Modular design
Compatible with the POINT I/O system, used in conjunction with communication adapters, and supporting distributed I/O architecture.
Detachable terminal blocks (RTB) simplify wiring and maintenance.
Status monitoring: Equipped with status indicator lights for modules, networks, and A, B, and Z inputs. When input signals are switched, the yellow indicator light flashes, facilitating debugging and fault diagnosis.
Signal conditioning: Equipped with built-in digital input/output interfaces, counter ASIC and dedicated microprocessor, it provides signal conditioning and data processing functions.
