IM 153-2 HF Interface ModuleThe Siemens 6ES7153-2BA70-0XB0 is a SIMATIC DP IM 153-2 HF interface module for the ET 200M distributed I/O system and DP/PA-Link applications. It supports up to 12 S7-300 modules, redundancy capability, time stamping and operation in isochronous mode. It is designed for extended-temperature industrial applications and communicates with the higher-level system through PROFIBUS DP. Siemens currently classifies this model as an Active Product (PM300), with product phase-out scheduled from October 1, 2027.
The module supports up to 12 S7-300 modules per DP slave interface, provides up to 244 bytes of input and 244 bytes of output address space, and supports time stamping with an accuracy of 1 ms for up to 8 modules and 10 ms for up to 12 modules.
It supports 24 V DC power, PROFIBUS DP communication up to 12 Mbit/s, and configuration using STEP 7 / COM PROFIBUS or third-party tools via GSD.
