CU240E-2 E-Type Control UnitThe Siemens 6SL3244-0BB12-1BA1 is a SINAMICS G120 CU240E-2 E-Type Control Unit for SINAMICS G120 variable frequency drive systems. It features Safety Integrated STO, RS485 communication with USS protocol, 6 digital inputs, 3 digital outputs, 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs. The unit also provides PTC/KTY, USB and SD/MMC interfaces and is supplied without a Power Module and operator panel.
The control unit operates from a 24 V DC supply through the Power Module and supports an external 20–29 V DC supply. Its RS485 interface supports the USS protocol for drive communication. The integrated Safety Integrated STO function provides a safety-related means of preventing motor torque.
The unit supports V/f control, V/f with flux-current control, V/f ECO, sensorless vector control and encoderless torque control.
