The CPU provides 14 digital inputs and 10 digital outputs for 24 V DC control signals, together with 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs. Two integrated PROFINET interfaces provide Ethernet-based communication for PROFINET IO and other industrial Ethernet functions.
Compared with the standard S7-1200 CPU, this SIPLUS version features conformal coating and an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, providing improved resistance to harsh environmental conditions.
