Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Media ConverterThe SCALANCE X101-1 provides a straightforward physical-layer conversion between copper-based Industrial Ethernet and multimode fiber. The RJ45 interface supports 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, while the BFOC optical interface operates at 100 Mbps and supports multimode fiber links up to approximately 5 km.
The unit includes LED diagnostics, an error signaling contact with SET pushbutton, redundant 24 V DC power supply capability, and PROFINET-compliant securing collars. It can be mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail, an S7-300 rail, or a wall, making it suitable for industrial control cabinets and automation network installations.
