The SICK WTB8L-P1131 is a miniature W8 Laser photoelectric proximity sensor with background suppression. It uses a visible red 650 nm Class 1 laser and provides reliable detection of small objects and fast-moving objects within a sensing range of 40 to 300 mm. The sensor features a PNP switching output, 10–30 VDC supply and IP67 protection.

Photoelectric Proximity SensorThe WTB8L-P1131 is designed for compact industrial automation applications where precise object detection is required. Its background-suppression technology allows objects to be detected while reducing the influence of the background.
The sensor has a compact 11 × 31 × 20 mm housing and uses a 4-wire, 2 m PVC cable connection. Its Class 1 laser produces a small 1.5 mm diameter light spot at 300 mm, making it particularly suitable for detecting small objects and objects moving at high speeds.
