Power SupplyThe Phoenix Contact TRIO-PS-2G/3AC/24DC/40 is a high-power three-phase industrial power supply from the TRIO POWER family. It accepts a nominal three-phase input of 3 × 400 to 500 V AC and provides a regulated 24 V DC output at 40 A, delivering up to 960 W continuously. The output voltage can be adjusted between 24 and 28 V DC, allowing voltage compensation for specific installation requirements.
For temporary overload conditions, the power supply provides Dynamic Boost up to 60 A for 5 seconds, equivalent to 150% of the nominal current. It is short-circuit-proof and protected against output overvoltage. Typical efficiency is 92.6%, while the integrated DC OK LED provides a straightforward indication of output status.
The unit uses tool-free Push-in connection technology and is designed for DIN rail installation. Its robust construction, wide operating temperature range and high electrical strength make it suitable for PLC control cabinets, machine automation, industrial control systems and other applications requiring a high-current 24 V DC supply.
