High Pressure SwitchThe Johnson Controls P77AAW-9350 PENN P77 High Pressure Switch is a mechanical pressure control device designed for high-pressure monitoring and protection in commercial and industrial refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat-pump systems.
The switch provides an adjustable high-pressure control range of 3 to 30 bar and an adjustable differential of 3.5 to 12 bar. It features an automatic reset mechanism and an SPDT contact system, allowing the switch to open or close a control circuit according to the monitored pressure condition.
The P77AAW-9350 is designed for use with non-corrosive refrigerants. Johnson Controls documentation identifies it as a pressure limiter / pressure cut-out / safety pressure cut-out and specifies a maximum bellows pressure of 33 bar.
The switch uses a 7/16"-20 UNF flare connection, commonly specified as 1/4" SAE, and features an IP54 weather-resistant aluminum die-cast housing. It is suitable for refrigeration high-pressure protection and can also be used for other compatible pressure-control applications such as air or water, provided the application is within the device's pressure and material limitations.
