Through-Beam Photoelectric ReceiverThe IFM OG5128 is a compact M18 threaded photoelectric receiver for through-beam sensing applications. It is designed to work with the corresponding IFM transmitter to create a long-range optical barrier for reliable detection of objects in industrial environments.
The receiver operates from 10–30 V DC and provides a PNP dark-on output with a maximum continuous switching current of 200 mA. Its stainless-steel threaded housing, IP68 protection, and operating temperature range of -25 to +60 °C make it suitable for demanding factory automation applications. The sensor uses a 660 nm red light and provides a switching frequency of up to 500 Hz.
