HART Multiplexer BackplaneThe HMP-HM64 is part of Eaton MTL's HART Interfacing product family. It is designed as a modular building block for HART communication systems, allowing two MTL4850/MTL4854 multiplexer modules to be installed on a single backplane.
he backplane provides four DIN41651 20-way HART signal cable connections. Each cable carries 16 HART signal connections and four common returns. This architecture allows the system to be expanded and connected to remote HART connection units such as the HCU16.
