HART Connection UnitThe MTL HCU16 is part of the MTL HART Interfacing product family and is categorized by Eaton as a HART Multiplexer / HART Connection Unit.
It provides 16 independent channels, with each channel using screw-clamp terminals for field wiring. The unit connects to the associated HART multiplexer system using a 20-way flat HART signal cable, making it suitable for centralized HART communication and monitoring of multiple process instruments.
The HCU16 is available in several variants, including HCU16, HCU16-CC, HCU16-P250, HCU16-S150, HCU16-S200 and HCU16-S240. The standard HCU16 should not be confused with the P250/S150/S200/S240 variants, which have different impedance configurations.
