Temperature Measurement ModuleThe Delta DVP04PT-S is a compact platinum temperature measurement module for the Delta DVP-S series PLC platform. It provides four RTD input channels for connecting PT100 3-wire, 100 Ω platinum resistance temperature sensors.
The module supplies approximately 1 mA excitation current to the RTD sensors and converts the measured temperature into digital data. It supports a measurement range from -200°C to +600°C (-328°F to +1112°F) and provides a temperature resolution of 0.1°C.
The DVP04PT-S communicates with the PLC through the DVP-S expansion interface and also provides an RS-485 communication port supporting MODBUS ASCII and RTU modes. The module can be used in industrial temperature monitoring, process control, HVAC, machinery and other automation applications requiring multiple RTD temperature inputs.
