SIL2 Fused Analog Interface / Termination ModuleThe 1492-TAIFM16-F-3 belongs to the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1492 programmable controller wiring system. It is specifically designed for ControlLogix SIL2 safety shutdown applications with two 1756-IF16 analog input modules.
The module provides 32 fuse holders with blown-fuse indicators and can be configured for either 16 SIL2 sensors or 32 standard sensors through DIP switches. The factory default configuration is 16 SIL2 sensors. It supports 4–20 mA transmitter signals and 0–5 VDC signals when used with the 1756-IF16.
The module uses 25-pin D-shell cable connections and requires two interface cables to connect the two 1756-IF16 modules. A 24 VDC reference-test control input is provided for the SIL2 diagnostic/test function.
