The device provides protection against motor overload, phase failure and short circuits. It features a built-in disconnect function, temperature compensation, trip-free mechanism, fault indication and a lockable rotary handle.

The MS165 family supports motor protection applications up to high power ratings and is designed for industrial motor control and automation systems.

Main Features

① Thermal & Magnetic Motor Protection

Provides:

  • Overload protection
  • Short-circuit protection
  • Phase-failure sensitivity
  • Thermomagnetic trip mechanism

The overload adjustment range for this model is 30–42 A.

② Trip Class 10 

The MS165-42 uses Trip Class 10, suitable for standard motor starting and protection applications.

③ High Short-Circuit Breaking Capacity

At 400 V AC, the rated service short-circuit breaking capacity Ics is 50 kA and the rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity Icu is also 50 kA.

④ Built-in Disconnect Function

The rotary handle provides clear:

  • ON
  • TRIP
  • OFF

position indication.

The handle can also be locked in the OFF position to help prevent unauthorized operation.

⑤ Temperature Compensation

The unit is temperature compensated, supporting stable motor protection over its specified operating temperature range.

⑥ Expandable Accessories
