ABB ACS350-03E-08A8-4 4kW 8.8A 380–480V 3-Phase IP20 Industrial AC Drive

The ACS350-03E-08A8-4 is part of ABB's ACS350 machinery-drive family and is intended for general-purpose machine automation. The drive supports three-phase 380–480 V AC input and delivers up to 8.8 A rated output current, with a nominal motor power rating of 4 kW at the applicable supply voltage. The standard unit has an IP20 enclosure and can be installed on a wall or inside a control cabinet.

The drive supports scalar V/f and sensorless vector control, programmable inputs and outputs, external braking resistor connection, and optional fieldbus communication modules. ABB's original ACS350 documentation lists options including PROFIBUS DP, DeviceNet, CANopen and Modbus RTU.

The ACS355-03E-08A8-4 is the corresponding successor/equivalent generation for the ACS350-03E-08A8-4. Specialist replacement documentation explicitly identifies the ACS355 version as the direct replacement for the equivalent ACS350.

However, it should not automatically be treated as a mechanically identical drop-in replacement. The ACS355 introduces additional functions such as STO and different control/software characteristics, so existing installation parameters and options should be checked before substitution.
