Function

DSI/Modbus communication Support Drive Serial Interface (DSI) and Modbus RTU protocols Communicate directly with the PowerFlex 4 series (such as PowerFlex 4, 40, 400) and PowerFlex 7 series (requiring a 20-COMM-H RS485 adapter) frequency converters, or connect to other Modbus RTU devices.

Single/Multiple drive mode:

Single drive mode: Each channel is connected to 1 drive, supporting up to 3 drives at most.

Multi-driver mode: Each channel supports up to 5 drivers (up to a total of 15), suitable for compact multi-device networks.

Automatic detection and adaptation: Automatically detect the connected DSI host and adapt to a rate of 19200 bps; Modbus RTU supports multiple baud rates and flexibly ADAPTS to different network requirements.

I/O data exchange Communicate with the MicroLogix 1500 or CompactLogix controller via the backplane to transmit Logic commands, Logic Status, Reference values and Datalink. Support driver monitoring and control.

Diagnostic function: The front panel LED indicator lights (module status, communication status) provide operation and fault information, facilitating quick problem identification.

Configuration tool: Use RSLogix 500 (MicroLogix 1500), RSLogix 5000 (CompactLogix) or DriveExplorer software to configure module parameters, supporting online monitoring and debugging.

Flexible network topology: Supports point-to-point (DSI single-driver) or multi-point (Modbus RTU or DSI multi-driver) networks to meet different application requirements.
