Function

DeviceNet network communication: As a scanner, the 1769-SDN establishes efficient communication between the CompactLogix or MicroLogix 1500 controller and DeviceNet devices (such as frequency converters, servo drives) to exchange input/output data.

Multiple I/O message types: Supports Poll, Strobe, Change of State and Cyclic I/O messages, flexibly adapting to the requirements of different devices.

Master/Slave mode: It can be configured that the master device scans the slave device or acts as the slave device to communicate with the upper-level controller.

Program loading: Supports loading programs to the 1764-LRP controller through the DeviceNet network.

Diagnostic function: The module status, communication status and error codes are provided through the LED indicator lights and digital display on the front panel, facilitating fault detection.

Backplane power supply: No external power supply is required. It is powered through the backplane of the CompactLogix or MicroLogix system, simplifying installation.

Configuration tool: Use the RSNetWorx for DeviceNet software to configure the scan list and network parameters, and cooperate with RSLinx to complete the driver configuration.
