HART analog input:

It provides 8 differential voltage or current input channels, supporting ±10V, 0-10V, 0-5V, 1-5V and 0-20mA / 4-20mA signals, and is compatible with 2-wire and 4-wire transmitters.

Built-in HART modem (1 unit/module), supporting HART protocol, allowing access to process variables (PV, SV, TV, QV), device status and diagnostic information of smart devices.

Built-in signal quality detection (over-range/under-range, open-circuit detection), providing diagnostic information through Studio 5000.

Data Format and Processing

Support three data formats: Analog Only, analog +HART PV, and channel-by-channel analog +HART, facilitating compatibility with non-HART modules or access to detailed HART data.

Using Sigma-Delta analog-to-digital conversion, it provides high precision and rapid response.

Supports real-time sampling (RTS) interval (minimum 25 ms), suitable for dynamic process monitoring.

Diagnosis and Safety:

Each channel is independently isolated to prevent interference between channels and enhance noise immunity.

Supports Event Sequence (SOE) timestamps to record input changes, suitable for critical applications.

Encrypted communication is carried out through CIP Security (EtherNet/IP) to prevent data tampering.

The HART protocol provides equipment health status, calibration information and fault diagnosis, reducing downtime.

Modular design

Single-slot module, supporting hot plugging (RIUP, Removal and Insertion Under Power), facilitating maintenance.

Simplify on-site wiring by using RTB (1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H) or 1492 IFM.

Network integration

Supports EtherNet/IP, ControlNet and DeviceNet networks, and is suitable for local or distributed I/O configuration.

Using the Producer-Consumer architecture allows multiple ControlLogix controllers to share input data.
