Function

Isolate the analog input

It provides 6 independent isolated voltage/current input channels, supporting ±10.5V, 0-10.5V, 0-5.25V and 0-21mA signals, and is compatible with 2-wire and 4-wire transmitters.

Each channel can be independently configured with signal type (voltage or current) and range, suitable for a variety of sensors (such as pressure, flow, level, and temperature transmitters).

High precision and signal quality

16-bit resolution (343 μV/ counting for ±10.5V, 0.34 μA/ counting for 0-21 mA) ensures high-precision signal acquisition.

Built-in signal quality detection (over-range/under-range, open-circuit detection), providing diagnostic information through Studio 5000.

Supports digital filtering (configurable) to reduce noise interference and enhance signal stability.

Data Format and Processing

Supports integer mode (left-aligned, 2's complement) and floating-point mode, compatible with different control requirements.

Using Sigma-Delta analog-to-digital conversion, it provides high precision and rapid response.

Diagnosis and Safety:

Each channel is independently isolated to prevent interference between channels and enhance noise immunity.

Supports Event Sequence (SOE) timestamps to record input changes, suitable for critical applications.

Encrypted communication is carried out through CIP Security (EtherNet/IP) to prevent data tampering.

Modular design

Single-slot module, supporting hot plugging (RIUP, Removal and Insertion Under Power), facilitating maintenance.

Simplify on-site wiring by using RTB (1756-TBNH or 1756-TBSH) or 1492 IFM.

Network integration

Supports EtherNet/IP, ControlNet and DeviceNet networks, and is suitable for local or distributed I/O configuration.

Using the Producer-Consumer architecture allows multiple ControlLogix controllers to share input data.
