Compatibility: Applicable to SLC 500 fixed or modular controller racks, occupying a single slot, and compatible with all SLC 500 CPU modules and 1747-ASB remote I/O adapters.

Bidirectional counting: Supports orthogonal encoders (±A, ±B, ±Z) to achieve bidirectional counting, suitable for forward and reverse motion detection.
Multiple operation modes:
Range mode: Supports 16 counting ranges, dynamically configuring circular or linear counting.
Rate mode: Measures pulse frequency (Hz), suitable for speed monitoring.
Sequential mode: Adaptive periodic rate counting without the need for a predefined sequence.
Flexible output control: 8 outputs support rapid response, independent of SLC processor scanning, suitable for closed-loop control.
Dynamic adjustment: Supports adjusting control parameters during the counting process. The Z channel is used for storing, maintaining or resetting counting data.
Noise suppression: It is recommended to use shielded cables and keep them away from noise sources to reduce false pulses of low-frequency signals.
Diagnostic function: Built-in LED indicator for monitoring module status, communication activities and fault diagnosis.
