Soft StarterThe Siemens 3RW4047-1BB14 SIRIUS soft starter provides reliable electronic starting and stopping for three-phase asynchronous motors. By controlling the motor voltage during acceleration and deceleration, the soft starter helps minimize high starting currents, mechanical shocks and stress on connected machinery.
The device is rated at 106 A and can be used with motors up to 55 kW at 400 V under specified operating conditions. It supports 200–480 V AC main circuit voltage and 110–230 V AC/DC control voltage.
Integrated functions include motor overload protection, device protection, adjustable current limitation, external reset and an integrated bypass function. The S3-size design with screw terminals allows installation in industrial control cabinets and motor-control systems.
