System Power SupplyThe Siemens 6ES7505-0RA00-0AB0 is a dedicated system power supply module for the SIMATIC S7-1500 automation platform. Unlike a conventional 24 VDC control power supply, its primary function is to supply operating voltage to the S7-1500 backplane bus, supporting the power requirements of modules installed in the automation station.
The module supports 24 VDC, 48 VDC and 60 VDC nominal input voltages. At 24 VDC input, the rated input current is 3 A; at 48 VDC it is 1.5 A; and at 60 VDC it is approximately 1.2 A. The module can supply 60 W of power to the backplane bus and incorporates reverse-polarity and short-circuit protection.
The PS 60W module is suitable for S7-1500 control cabinets and automation systems where the available system power on the backplane needs to be supplemented. Its compact 70 mm wide design allows straightforward installation alongside other S7-1500 modules.
