Contrast SensorThe sensor uses three RGB wavelengths—470 nm, 525 nm and 625 nm—to provide reliable contrast detection across different colors and materials. Its 2-point teach-in function enables straightforward setup for detecting registration marks and contrast transitions.
It features an RGB LED light source, a sensing distance of up to 13 mm, PNP/NPN switching outputs, a 25 kHz switching frequency and a 20 μs response time. The compact VISTAL® housing provides IP67 protection.
The sensor has a 1.2 × 3.9 mm light spot, vertical light-spot direction and a sensing distance of ≤13 mm with ±3 mm tolerance. It connects through a 4-pin M12 male connector and supports both PNP and NPN switching outputs, making it suitable for a wide range of PLC control architectures.
