Joystick ControllerThe Schneider Electric XD4PA24 is a four-direction joystick controller from the Harmony XB4 range, designed for industrial machine control, operator panels and control stations.
The controller is panel mounted through a 22 mm diameter mounting hole and provides four directional commands with a total of five operating positions. The operator uses a spring-return mechanism to the center/zero position, allowing the joystick to automatically return to its neutral position when released.
The XD4PA24 incorporates one normally open contact per direction and uses slow-break contact operation. Electrical connections are made through screw-clamp terminals. The joystick features a 54 mm long operating shaft, a chromium-plated metal bezel and a Zamak fixing collar.
The device is designed for demanding industrial environments and provides IP66 protection, making it suitable for applications where resistance to dust and water jets is required. Its mechanical durability is specified at approximately 1,000,000 cycles.
