Core functions and limitations

Redundancy and hot plugging: Adopting a 3+1 backup mode, four switching network units work in coordination. When any unit fails, the remaining units automatically take over the service.

Hot plugging requires holding down the OFL button for 6 seconds to trigger the red indicator light to remain constantly on before operation.

Compatibility requirements: It needs to be used in conjunction with the NE40E series main control board and LPU single board. Cross-manufacturer devices are not supported for mixed insertion.

Functional limitations: The same series of SFU boards explicitly do not support port rate adaptation and hhash functions. The CR5DSFUIT27W may inherit this limitation.
