Fixed Electrochemical Gas TransmitterThe Dräger Polytron 8100 EC is a fixed gas detector/transmitter designed for continuous monitoring of electrochemically detectable toxic gases and oxygen in industrial environments.
The 8344412 configuration is the Polytron 8100 EC d S 4–20/HART, with an Ex d explosion-proof housing and remote sensor configuration. It provides a 4–20 mA analog output and HART communication, allowing integration with industrial gas detection, PLC, DCS and safety systems.
The transmitter itself is supplied without the electrochemical sensor; the appropriate DrägerSensor must be selected according to the gas being monitored. Dräger's ordering information lists compatible electrochemical sensors for gases including CO, H₂S, Cl₂, NH₃, NO, NO₂, O₂ and others.
