Proximitor/Seismic Monitor I/O ModuleThe 128240-01 provides the field-interface portion of a Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor Seismic Monitor. It is designed for applications requiring monitoring of shaft vibration, radial position, thrust position and other machinery-condition parameters.
The 3500/42M is a four-channel monitor designed to receive signals from proximity and seismic transducers, process the signals into vibration and position measurements, and compare the measured values against user-programmable alarm setpoints.
This version uses external terminations, allowing field wiring to be connected through the appropriate external termination arrangement rather than directly at the monitor module. The module is compatible with the 3500/42M monitoring architecture and is intended for continuous online machinery protection.
Typical applications include steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, generators and other critical rotating machinery.
