Rich instructions and logical operations: Supports ladder diagram (LAD) and function block diagram (FBD) programming. The instruction set covers bit instructions, timers, counters, frequency dividers, frequency generators, and shift registers, etc. It can also perform 16/32-bit integer comparisons, integer type conversions, and other operations, meeting the requirements of complex binary control logic.
Position detection and data interaction: By obtaining position measurement data through a dedicated encoder interface, functions such as continuous counting, single counting, and periodic counting can be achieved, with counting accuracy reaching 16 or 32 bits. It simultaneously supports I/O address allocation of every 16 bytes and can efficiently exchange data with the upper-level S7 CPU.
Flexible operation and diagnosis: It can be connected to the S7-300 system configuration for operation, or operate as a PROFIBUS DP slave station in a distributed manner, and even work independently of the upper-level PLC. It is equipped with fault diagnosis functions such as disconnection, overflow/underflow, and missing load voltage, and is paired with status indicator lights for convenient and quick troubleshooting.
Application scenarios
Packaging and printing machinery: In high-speed packaging production lines, it can achieve high-speed tracking of small installation components, precisely control actions such as packaging film sealing and cutting, and material grasping, ensuring packaging rhythm and accuracy.
